The Scouts Association is not just a voluntary organisation, it is also a registered charity. Local scout groups do their very best to keep the costs for membership down so that scouting can be affordable to everyone. But this often leaves them with little or no funds to organise the events that everyone knows and loves in association with scouting. We need your help, and here's how you can do it!
Easy Fundraising is an affiliate marketing initiative where your local community cause or charity receives a small donation every time you shop online with your favourite retailers. It costs you nothing so you can literally be donating to the scouts on a weekly basis via your online grocery shop of amazon purchases without having to spend any extra money. The great thing about Easy Fundraising is that the funds you raise via your online purchases are also eligible for Gift Aid, so for every pound raised by you, the government contributes an additional 25p to the donation as a 'rebate' from your income tax!
